Usage-based pricing turns every new use case into a budget conversation. Alchemy's licence is a fixed figure per organization of agents, whatever the number of runs, members or people using it.
The costs that do vary are paid directly to the vendors you choose: Anthropic for the model, and any paid services you connect. Alchemy adds nothing on top, and it gives you firm control over both.
The result is a budget finance can plan around: a known licence, and variable costs capped by ceilings you set before any work begins.

A ceiling on every task
Each task carries a spend ceiling. When it is reached, the work pauses and an administrator decides whether to continue to a new figure or stop.

Calls to paid services you declare, such as media or voice generation, are reserved against their own ceiling before they are made.
The right person, right away
When a ceiling is reached, Alchemy alerts administrators in Slack, Teams or through a webhook, and the decision is recorded.

What counts as one organization of agents?
One project: a single manifest describing its members, what each may touch, which actions need approval and what counts as done. A separate line of work is a second licence, or part of Fleet.
Is model spend included?
No, by design. Anthropic bills model use to your own API key at its own prices. It never passes through Agiliti and is never marked up.
What else can cost money?
Only the paid services you choose to connect, such as media or voice generation. Those vendors bill you directly, and declared paid calls count against your ceilings.
What happens when a ceiling is reached?
The work pauses before the next step and an administrator is alerted. They can raise the figure and continue, or stop the work. Either way, the decision is recorded.
