# Alchemy by Agiliti

> Alchemy by Agiliti is a self-hosted, governed runtime for organizations of AI agents. You describe the organization in one manifest; Alchemy runs it on your infrastructure with approvals, spend ceilings, an independent definition-of-done check and a complete, verifiable record.

Key facts:

- Self-hosted: one process on Windows or Linux (Node.js 22), on infrastructure you control. Built on Anthropic's Claude Agent SDK; model use is billed to your own Anthropic API key and never marked up. Nothing is sent to Agiliti.
- One manifest describes the organization: the members and their lead, what each member may touch, which actions wait for a person, and what counts as done.
- Approvals: actions you mark (for example a code push, a pull request, a Jira comment, a filing or a paid call) wait for an administrator in the control center or from an alert in Slack, Teams or a webhook. No agent can approve.
- Spend: a ceiling on every task, plus optional daily and monthly limits per project and for the whole account, checked before each step.
- Definition of done: before a run can finish, a member that did none of the work opens every deliverable against a written definition of done.
- Record: a complete, encrypted, tamper-evident trail of what every agent was given, did and changed; exportable and verifiable independently. Actions on outside systems are logged and never repeated after a crash.
- Integrations as governed actions: GitHub (branch pushes, pull requests), Jira, MCP tool servers, HTTP APIs, media generation, ElevenLabs voice.
- Example setups: a Jira ticket taken to a pull request and a signed-off release; a code change delivered as a change record and a pull request; an export-control release memo; an AI-use disclosure pack; a pharma promotional-review reference pack; media with shot-level provenance.
- Governance frameworks: supports EU AI Act record-keeping and human-oversight obligations and maps to the OWASP Top 10 for Agentic Applications.
- Commercial: a design partnership costs $5,000 for eight weeks and is credited in full to a first-year licence; the licence is quoted per organization; nothing is metered.
